From Pentecost to My God Room: The Day I “Translated” My Singing in Tongues

This morning , I sat down to study Acts 2:1-13. It is that world-shaking account of the first Pentecost, where the Holy Spirit descended like tongues of fire and everyone present began to speak the wonders of God in languages they had never learned.

As I read, I couldn’t help but reflect on my own journey. I received the gift of speaking in tongues just last year, on May 18th, 2025. It started with just a few heavy, meaningful words: Cudero and Shalom Aleichem. The breakthrough, however, happened on June 28th, 2025, during an Alpha Away Day. In an atmosphere of deep worship, as leaders we were encouraged to use the gifts the Spirit had given us. In that moment, something broke open. I didn’t just speak; I began singing in tongues. This Morning Thursday 19th February 2026 I wondered.

“Can Google Translate the Language of the Spirit?”

I’ve often wondered if there was a literal meaning behind the melody I was singing. I decided to do something a bit “out there”—I took those specific words to a linguistic search to see if they made sense in our world. What I found was mind-blowing.

It turns out I wasn’t just making sounds; I was weaving together four distinct ancient and modern languages into a cohesive prophetic blueprint.

The Multilingual Message Decoded

• Cudero (Spanish/Latin): This is an occupational name for a Cooper—a craftsman who builds barrels and vessels. It represents the preparation of the container.
• Shalom Aleichem (Hebrew): The iconic greeting meaning “Peace be upon you.” It represents the foundation of divine wholeness and safety.
• Camarna (Ancient Root/Spanish): Related to the word Cámara, meaning a Chamber, Vault, or Granary. This is a secure place where the harvest is stored and protected.
• Kalapuchchha (Pali/Sanskrit): An ancient term meaning “Asking about the time period.” It refers to the discernment of the season we are in.

The “Aha!” Moment: A Prophetic Sentence

When I put these four languages together, a cohesive, prophetic sentence emerged. It was as if the Holy Spirit was singing a blueprint over my life:

“The Maker (Cudero) is building the vessels; He is filling the Storehouse (Cámara) with His Peace (Shalom), for we are at the threshold of a specific Season (Kalapuchchha).”

The “miracle of the ears” from Acts 2 is still happening in 2026. While I thought I was just singing a melody on that Away Day, I was actually declaring a state of spiritual readiness:

• The Vessel: God is shaping our character and our capacity.
• The Storehouse: God is providing and storing up what we need for the future.
• The Peace: God is stabilizing our hearts with His presence.
• The Timing: God is alerting us to a shift in the spiritual season.

It has been less than a year since I first spoke those words, but seeing the translation now makes the gift feel brand new. It’s a reminder that when we pray in the Spirit, we aren’t just speaking into the air—we are participating in a global, ancient, and divine conversation.
