The Bible’s Grand Narrative: Creation to Restoration

Creation → Fall →

Redemption → Restoration
A Comprehensive Overview
Written by diverse authors—ranging from kings to fishermen—across three continents and in three languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek), these scriptures serve as the spiritual and historical blueprint for the Christian faith. The library is divided into two primary sections:

Explore the Roots of the Word
A Three-Part Journey into the History of Your Bible
Take a journey from the origins of scripture to the structure of your modern Bible. This three-part study explores the divine and historical process of the Biblical Canon, clears up the mysteries surrounding the Council of Nicaea, and provides practical tools for understanding Bible Structure. Whether you’re curious about how the 66 books were chosen or why chapters are organized into “pericopes,” these resources are designed to help you go deeper into the history and heart of the Word.
The Library of Scripture:
- The Old Testament (39 Books): The Promise—covering Creation through the preparation for the Messiah.
- The New Testament (27 Books): The Fulfillment—covering the life of Jesus Christ and the coming Eternal Kingdom.
📚 The Old Testament
The Law (The Pentateuch) These first five books, written by Moses, form the foundation of the entire Bible. They tell the story of the world’s beginning, the choice of the people of Israel, and the giving of the Law. They reveal God’s holiness and His initial blueprint for how humans can live in relationship with Him.

Duties to God & Humanity
Historical Books
These 12 books record the dramatic rise and fall of the nation of Israel. They cover everything from the conquest of the Promised Land and the era of the great Kings (like David and Solomon) to the tragedy of exile and the eventual return to Jerusalem. It is a raw look at how God remains faithful even when His people are not.

Joshua | Judges | Ruth | 1 Samuel | 2 Samuel | 1 Kings | 2 Kings | 1 Chronicles | 2 Chronicles | Ezra | Nehemiah | Esther
Wisdom & Poetry Rather than just history or laws, these books focus on the human heart and the “how-to” of life. From the deep suffering of Job and the honest songs of the Psalms to the practical advice in Proverbs, these books show us how to relate to God through our emotions and daily choices.
💡 Recovery Tip: Many find that the Psalms are the world’s first “honesty sessions.” If you’re struggling with cravings or low mood today, start at Psalm 34:18—“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.”
Job | Psalms | Proverbs | Ecclesiastes | Song of Solomon
The Prophets (Major & Minor) The Prophets were God’s “mouthpieces” during times of crisis. Their message was two-fold: a call for the people to turn away from self-destruction and return to God, and a series of powerful predictions about the coming Messiah who would save the world.
Note: “Major” and “Minor” only refer to the length of the books, not their importance!
Major Prophets
Isaiah | Jeremiah | Lamentations | Ezekiel | Daniel
Minor Prophets
Hosea | Joel | Amos | Obadiah | Jonah | Micah | Nahum | Habakkuk | Zephaniah | Haggai | Zechariah | Malachi
✝️ The New Testament (Gospels, Letters, & Prophecy)

Matthew | Mark | Luke | John | Acts of the Apostles
The Bridge to the Church: The Book of Acts
While the Gospels tell the story of Jesus’ physical ministry on earth, the Book of Acts reveals how that same power was unleashed through everyday people like you and me. It is the exciting “sequel” that shows how a small group of believers changed the world.
To help you master this pivotal book, we have created a dedicated interactive study series. Whether you want to follow Paul’s 10,000-mile journey on our apostolic maps, watch the events come to life in our cinema library, or dive into our 5-minute daily chapter notes, this is your home for spiritual growth.

The Gospels & Acts
The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) provide four distinct perspectives on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Think of them as four different lenses on a camera—each focusing on a specific angle to show that “Nobody is too far gone.”
- Matthew: (The King/Prophecy) — The King of the Jews Written primarily for a Jewish audience, Matthew is packed with Old Testament references. It proves that Jesus is the promised Messiah and the rightful heir to King David’s throne. It includes long sections of teaching, like the Sermon on the Mount, showing Jesus as a “new Moses” guiding His people.
- Mark: (The Servant/Action) The Suffering Servant The shortest and most action-packed Gospel. Written for a Roman audience, it skips the birth story and dives straight into Jesus’ ministry. The pace is fast—Mark uses the word “immediately” over 40 times. It focuses on what Jesus did, portraying Him as a Servant who came to suffer and save.
- Luke: (The Savior/Compassion) The Savior of the World Written by a physician for “outcasts” and seekers, Luke emphasizes Jesus’ humanity and His compassion for those on the fringes—the poor, women, and “sinners.” It contains the famous stories of the Good Samaritan and the Prodigal Son, proving that salvation is available to everyone.
- John: (The Son of God/Spirituality) The Son of God John is the “spiritual” Gospel. While the others focus on Jesus’ parables, John focuses on His divine identity through powerful “I Am” statements (like “I am the light of the world”). His goal is simple: to help you believe that Jesus is the divine Son of God.
- Acts of the Apostles: (The Church) Acts continues the story, showing how the Holy Spirit empowered the early church to spread this Good News from Jerusalem to the rest of the world.
Meet the 12 Who Followed Jesus:
Jesus didn’t walk alone. He chose twelve very different men to be his closest companions. From rough fishermen to a tax collector, their stories prove that God can use anyone.
Jesus didn’t just teach with facts; He taught with stories. Learn why He used these “earthly stories with heavenly meanings” in our guide to

The Pauline Epistles These are letters written by the Apostle Paul to early Christian communities. They are packed with “Biblical Theology,” explaining exactly what Jesus’ sacrifice means for us today and offering practical instructions on how to live out our faith in a difficult world.
Romans | 1 Corinthians | 2 Corinthians | Galatians | Ephesians | Philippians | Colossians | 1 Thessalonians | 2 Thessalonians |
The Pastoral Epistles
1 Timothy | 2 Timothy | Titus |
Personal:| Philemon |
The General Epistles Written by other early church leaders like Peter, James, and John, these letters were sent to a broad audience of believers. They focus heavily on staying strong during times of suffering, the importance of love, and making sure our actions match our words.
Hebrews | James | 1 Peter | 2 Peter | 1 John | 2 John | 3 John | Jude
Prophecy (Revelation) The final book of the Bible is a vision given to the Apostle John. It serves as a powerful message of hope for the future, showing that despite the struggles of this world, Jesus is the ultimate Victor who will eventually restore all things and wipe away every tear.

The 5-Minute New Testament Challenge
One chapter per day
Changed Perspective.
A Simple Way to Stay Consistent
Mon–Fri New Testament Reading Plan
Let’s be honest: for many of us, the idea of reading the entire Bible feels daunting. It’s a massive library of history and wisdom, and knowing where to start—or how to keep going—is half the battle.
That’s exactly why I created the New Testament Reading Plan. I wanted to take the guesswork out of the journey and make it manageable for even the busiest schedule.
How it works:
The Logic is Simple:
The 5-Minute Math:
- 260 Chapters in the New Testament
- 5 Days a week (Mon–Fri)
- 52 Weeks in a year
- Result: The whole New Testament completed!
Why the 5-Minute Challenge?
- Monday – Friday: We focus on consistency during the working week.
- Weekends are Yours: Use Saturdays and Sundays to rest, reflect, or catch up if life gets in the way.
- Bite-Sized Transformation: Most chapters take less than 5 minutes to read, but the impact lasts a lifetime.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
Concise Summaries: I’ve personally written a summary for every chapter from Matthew 1 to Revelation 22.
If you ever feel stuck or short on time, the summary is there to give you the “big picture” before you dive into the verses. It’s about progress, not perfection.
